Wouldn't it be great if you didn't have to choose between a fun vacation destination and a peaceful, spiritual retreat?  I have been fortunate enough to visit many different retreat centers.  I must admit, I find them somewhat boring.  I do yearn for personal growth and peace, yet I'm not willing to forgo excitement and pleasure to pursue it!  I have been dreaming of a place that satisfies all of these desires.  I intend to create a special place for people to delight themselves in a variety of ways, like a Supercenter for the Spirit. This would be a sacred space, as green as possible, welcoming people from all walks of life. I'm visualizing workshops with all of my favorite authors (such as SARK, Wayne Dyer, Marianne Williamson, Neale Donald Walsch, and Louise Hay to name a few). I'd like to have programs for children, older people, recovery programs, couples, corporate groups, teens, cancer survivors, families, friends with special needs, homeless people, ALL PEOPLE! I intend to offer some type of scholarship and work exchange possibilities as well. I am envisioning outdoor adventures (zip lines, a tea house in a tree, ampitheater, horses, sweat lodge, challenge education, a lake, trails, fountain of gratitude, meditation platform, petting zoo, multi-faith sanctuary, whitewater rafting, campground, organic farm & orchard, backpacking, drum circles), as well as indoor explorations (workshops, auditorium, dancing, lending library, fine dining, reiki, hotel with suites, standard or hostel rooms, a giant multi-media art center, massage, casual cafe, art gallery/gift shop). I'm also visualizing an indoor/outdoor water park, trolley shuttle service, climbing areas for children and adults, Landmark Education, Play therapy, a giant trampoline....infinite ways to delight your soul and your senses, decadently rich in music and art. This will require collaboration of many people. If anyone is interested in co-creating this amazing place, please let me know!
